I love to feed hummingbirds...we have at least 5 that float around our yard. This little guy was not afraid of the big green monster lurking...

This Jalapeno Popper Spread was a hit. If you like it hot, this is for you... oh, and yes...it tasted exactly like a jalapeno popper !! Participating in Foodie Friday hosted by the wonderful Designs by Gollum !
JALAPENO POPPER SPREAD {adapted from allrecipes.com }
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 small can jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
1. Using hand mixer, stir together cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in jalapeno peppers. Pour in bake safe dish ( I used a pie plate ). Spread 1 c. parm cheese on top and then sprinkle with panko all over.
2. Bake at 375 for 20 min.
I served mine with pita chips... {tortilla chips are great of course too !}

Nice recipe...it looks really good. It sounds like it would be good on baguettes too.
Great photo. I have a few hummingbirds around here, but the feeder seems to attract more ants than birds. Your lizards are really bright green, not used to seeing that. The lizards here are brown, black or grey pretty boring! :)
that looks really great- I will deffinately have to try this one.
Hummingbird picture is beautiful, I want to try feeders also. the neighbor has a bottle brush tree and they are always flitting around it
I love hummingbirds. I have quite a few of them too. The Jalapeno Popper Spread looks great. Carla

What kind of lizard is that?? It looks amazing. We only have bown ones with a touch of orange and yellow sometimes.
Love your Hummingbirds.....I did not get any this year. I have loads of Finches. They are just as pretty. Your Jalapeno Popper Spread looks great. I just happen to have Jalapeno peppers growing in my garden......guess what I will be making:)

Jalapeno poppers are one of my favorites and this looks like a great dish to try. We love dips and spreads. I am printing this off right now. I can't wait, my mouth waters for spicy food.s
I love the little hummers too. I just love to watch them. They never let me get close enough to take a picture though. I guess I have to be more patient.

Happy Foodie Friday
Oh wow! This will be so popular at our house. I will be making it for tomorrow. Thank you.
This is one of our favorite recipes. I found it online a couple of years ago...changed it a bit (no mayo, more jalapeno juice) and serve it with flatbread, pita chips, and thinly sliced French baguettes. The "bunco ladies" love it...as do the "poker guys" (they play while we girls have fun!)
Jane (artfully graced)
I appreciate your kind words for my post. Thanks so much for the recipe. I'll give it a spin. I'll bet that it will be a hit! Cherry Kay
Yummy!!! I must try this one!! Please stop by and say hi. I finally updated my blog.
