Vintage Table

Driving home Friday afternoon, I spotted this vintage blue painted table. I have been looking for a side table for my daughters room and I knew this would be perfect. Lots of space for her to place her trinkets. She has a small room, so I need to be practical about what I buy her. I think it turned out really cute.
I love blue glass, and this vintage Ball Mason Jar is my favorite color of blue, ever. Soothing and beautiful..........

Years ago, my grandmother gave me antique tea cups & saucers from her collection. She doesn't remember me anymore, but this reminds me of her and how things used to be.
And I smile... Thanks for stopping by !

It's so sad when those we love grow old and forgetful. This happened to my MIL and to my mom. Be kind to your grandmother: send her cards, telephone her, visit her, kiss and hug her because they NEVER forget kindness. Happy Blue Monday.

That blue table is splendid!! Near the end of my grandmother's precious life, she did not recognize any of her children and grandchildren. Extremely difficult! Thanks for sharing your find!

Losing our Grandparents mentally or physically is hard...It is so nice that the teacups bring back happy memories.

Happy Monday...what is left of it.

That's a perfect table for a small room. And especially a little girl. She'll place all sorts of trinkets there for safekeeping while she slumbers. I love this blog. Have I told you that?

Wow I love that blue table- what a beautiful room for your little girl! Your cookies above look amazing, too. My mom makes a similar recipe that I love but flat out refuses to let me share it on my blog, so I might have to try yours! :) Keep up the beautiful posts and thanks for your kind words, it's always wonderful to stop by here (and forget for a few minutes that I live in the dessert!)
