I grabbed my camera and headed to town.

How I adore Miss Mermaid atop this old home.
These homes are from waaay back when pirates came to shore...
soooo romantic.... I can imagine Elizabeth Swann in a white flowy dress standing on that balcony
looking towards the water, waiting for Jack Sparrow to come back from the sea.... (sigh)
It's Outdoor Wednesday hosted by the wonderful Susan at a Southern Daydreamer & Waterside Wednesday, hosted by Barbara Jacksier &Watery Wednesday , and hooked on houses.
The simple but elegant details of this house are outstanding! So beautiful!!! That roof!

What a cute little mermaid! I like it that she is kinda plumpish - I mean, compared to Daryl Hannah. Hmmm...we are about 55 minutes from the beach, and the weather is still plenty warm around here - I want to go play!
