My nephew left his newborn son just weeks ago for his first tour in Iraq. It was heart-breaking, but we are now awaiting the reunion and embrace when he returns in time for next Christmas.
I take it from your last statement that you also have someone serving. I believe that the hearts of all those who are missing their loved ones are connected, waiting for each to come home safe.
