Since my camera is broken, I have to post about this thrifty find I made a few months ago.
Vintage Winter Frost White Corelle, 1970.
{8 cups & saucers, a mere 10 cents each.}
I spent 80 cents.
When I saw these, the first thought that came to mind was this...
Jello !
and I have to say, even my teenage sons thought that eating jello out of these was 'cool'.
And I really must share a priceless moment for me this weekend.
While we were boating, we came upon a school of dolphins ! There were 7, swimming right next to us. All in pairs with a new mama and BABY !!! Oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how excited I was. It was a magical moment. Thankfully I had my cell phone with me. (My new camera needs to get here soon !!!! )Here is the only photo I was able to capture.

How wonderful you were able to see the dolphins. I have never seen any in natural environments, what a blessing. Love your blue jello in the white dishes, so pretty and fresh looking!
That is still a great picture with your cell phone! You were pretty close to them! Very cool color jello--at first I thought it was Easter egg dye--great idea!
Teenagers would love blue jello as would my precious 3 yr. old granddaughter. Must say it looks very pretty presented like this.

Great finds for only 80cents. I came home from garage sailing this weekend and told my hubby he couldn't afford me.... I had spent a whole 50 cents! He was happy, I was disappointed...not a great day for bargains for me!
I don't think I have ever found a deal like that!

Oh I'm so jealous of those cups! My grandma used to have a bunch and (I think yours are the same size) they measure one cup exactly, so they are totally useful! I have four I found at a thrift store and my husband uses one to measure the water for his oatmeal every morning.
I'm dying for a piece of that mud cake now... it looks so good with the frosting- wow!
